I dont mind admitting I am a highly nervous patient. I have had a tremendous fear of dentists ever since a trip to the dentist when I was very young and needed my first filling and the dentist drilled through my gum (I am now 57)! Since then as one can appreciate I have been nervous of any dental treatment(although I have still gone to the dentist every six months) until, that is in 2000 I met the Anchor Dental Centre team. What a pleasure that was. I had a gap of a year or so but have returned to their superb treatment and lovely caring ways, this year 2004.
To have the pleasure, and I mean pleasure, to have Ruth as my dentist, well I can tell you, means so much to me. I have had to undergo extremely difficult dental treatment on my last two visits, and although for me, my treatment was traumatic (because of my nerves and the amount of time I was in the chair), I have experienced nothing more than great expertise on Ruth's part- wonderful, caring and a lovely positive nature.
